PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic image-developing toner having excellent printing durability in such a manner that, even when printing for many sheets is performed, fogging does not occur, and also, blurring is not caused. SOLUTION: In an electrostatic image-developing toner comprising a colored resin particle comprising a binder resin and a coloring agent and an external additive, the external additive comprises a microparticle of an inorganic layered clay compound, and the interlayer distance between the layers of the inorganic layered clay compound is 1.5 to 4 nm.
