PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflective screen that is thin and lightweight, has less foreign matter such as dust or dirt caught therein caused by static electricity, and has improved contrast and improved brightness of the entire screen, and to provide a picture display system. SOLUTION: A reflecting layer 112 is joined to the rear of a light transmission layer 111 via a joining layer 113, the reflecting layer 112 having a diffusion reflective layer 112a that diffuses and reflects light and a shield layer 112b that does not transmit light and is disposed on the rear of the diffusion reflective layer 112a. The light reflectivity of the diffusion reflective layer 112a is 30% or more and the light transmittance thereof is 50% or less. The light shield layer 112b is formed by vapor-depositing aluminum, its surface resistance is 10<SP>10</SP>Ωor less, its light transmittance is 5% or less and its light reflectance is 50% or more.
