<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating cooker capable of performing heating cooking efficiently regardless of the quality of the material of a pan and suppressing buoyancy when heating a pan having small electrical resistivity. <P>SOLUTION: A control circuit detects the quality of the material of the pan 4 and performs heating cooking according to the detected quality of the material. When the control circuit determines that the pan 4 is made of metal and has large electrical resistivity, a high-frequency current of 30 kHz is supplied from an inverter circuit to a heating coil 6 for heating cooking only with the heating coil 6. When it is determined that the pan 4 is made of nonmetal, an induced voltage is generated in a coil-like resistor 9 by magnetic flux generated by the energization state of the heating coil 6, thus performing heating cooking with the coil-like resistor 9. When it is determined that the pan 4 is made of metal and has small electrical resistivity, heating cooking is performed by the heating coil 6 and the coil-like resistor 9. In this case, magnetic flux is generated in a direction for canceling magnetic flux generated from the heating coil 6, thus suppressing buoyancy in the pan 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
