PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a school bag where a shoulder belt can be attached and removed at will easily and a user can exchange the shoulder belt easily. SOLUTION: The school bag includes a main body part 2 with the upper part open which is composed of a body part 3 which is formed out of a bottom plate 301 and a pair of big gussets 302 which is connected upwards at both end parts of the bottom plate 301, a back plate 4 which is attached on the back surface side of the body part 3, and a front plate 5 which is attached on the front surface side of the body part 3, a lid 6 which is attached to the main body part 2 so that the upper opening can be opened and closed, and a pair of shoulder belts 10 which are attached on the back surface side in the main body part 2 so that they can be attached and removed at will. A plate 8 is provided which keeps one locking projection or two or more locking projections 9 in an extended condition jetted out on the upper part in the lateral surface of the back plate 4 and on each of the lateral surface of a bottom plate 2. A fastener 12 which can be locked on the locking projection 9 is prepared on both ends of each of the shoulder belt 10.
