PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging device for securing the number of pixels while achieving high speed photographing. SOLUTION: In this solid-state imaging device configured by arranging a plurality of pixels like a matrix, each pixel is provided with: a photo-diode 30 for performing the photoelectric conversion of incident rays of light, and for outputting a signal charge; a plurality of signal charge storage parts (M0, M1, M2) for storing the output signal charge; write object switching means (SW0-a, SW1-a, SW2-a) for selecting the writing of the signal charge output at the same time in each of the signal charge storage parts; and reading object switching means (SW0-b, SW1-b, SW2-b) for selecting one signal charge storage part from which the signal charge should be read from among the plurality of signal charge storage parts.
