PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive and economical fixing device for locking a retention member which is easy to be operated and excellent in fixing effect and workability in spite of a simple structure, further highly safe, versatile, and reusable. SOLUTION: The fixing device for locking the retention member comprises a bolt member 2, a fixing force adjustment member 12 having a second screw 8 screwed to a first screw 4 and a tapered part 11 formed on the outer circumferential wall 10 thereof, a fixing sleeve member 21 composed of a cylindrical member 14 having a hollow hole 13 having an inside diameter capable of freely being fitted to a rod 5 of the bolt member 2 which has a flange 16 formed at one end 15 and at least one slit 20 formed at the other end 17, and is freely fitted to the rod 5 so that the flange 16 is opposed to the head 3 of the bolt member 2 between the fixing force adjustment member 12 and the head 3 of the bolt member 2.
