PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joined body of dissimilar metals of an aluminum member and stainless steel in which a component of the aluminum member having an aluminum oxide film as a corrosion-resistant film is not eluded into water such as cooling water, and no defects of the aluminum oxide film are present in a joined portion, thus the corrosion resistance is excellent, and the manufacturing cost is low. SOLUTION: In the joined body, after joining an aluminum member formed of aluminum or an aluminum alloy with a stainless steel member, an oxide film is formed on a surface of the aluminum member through hot water treatment at 75-100°C, or with steam treatment at≥95°C. the joined body is used while being brought into contact with water at the temperature of≥20°C with the conductivity of≤5μS/cm.
