<p>The method involves storing register positions of organ pieces in a memory, and consecutively interpolating the register positions by a switching signal during playing. The switching signal is selectively produced by hand/foot control keys or by coincidence of selected notes of the organ pieces at interpolation position with currently playing notes or automatically after a selectable switching time. An audio signal generated from the organs is correlated with marking signals. An independent claim is also included for a registering device for organs.</p>
