<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reading and recording unit having a voice guidance function, capable of easily playing back a desired portion of voice guidance. <P>SOLUTION: The image reading and recording unit includes: a memory means for storing a plurality of voice guidance sets; an operation means for operating the start and stop of playback of the voice guidance and the start and stop of fast-forward playback (or rewind playback) of the voice guidance; a playback means for playing back the stored voice guidance based on the present status when the start of playback is operated by the operation means; a fast forwarding means (or rewinding means) for starting the fast-forward playback (or rewind playback) of the voice guidance of which playback is in progress when the start of the fast-forward playback (or rewind playback) is operated by the operation means; and a fast-forward stop means (or rewind stop means) for stopping the fast-forward playback (or rewind playback) of the voice guidance when the stop of fast-forward playback (or rewind playback) is operated by the operation means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
