<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device and an image forming apparatus, in which toner drop is not generated even when the developing device is used for the image forming apparatus which may consume much toner. <P>SOLUTION: A cover for covering the upper part of a developer carrier is formed so that its tip is located on the upper stream in the developer carrying direction of a carrying pole, a gap with uniform width is formed between the developer carrier and the cover and an air flow of one direction is formed in the gap. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
