<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust heat recovery device capable of ensuring heat exchange performance even when tilted. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust heat recovery device is provided with an evaporating part 1 exchanging heat between exhaust gas and an evaporable and condensable working fluid sealed inside to evaporate the working fluid, and a condensing part 2 exchanging heat between the working fluid evaporated in the evaporating part 1, and cooling water to condense the working fluid. The evaporating part 1 and the condensing part 2 are arranged in a closed loop passage through which the working fluid circulates. The evaporating part 1 and the condensing part 2 are arranged adjoining each other in the substantially horizontal direction. The evaporating part 1 is provided with a plurality of evaporation side heat pipes 3a arranged in parallel, and is provided with a first evaporation side header 51a communicating one ends of the plurality of evaporation side heat pipes 3a, and a second evaporation side header 52a communicating the other ends. When mounted in a vehicle in a horizontal state, the second evaporation side header 52a disposed on the lower side out of the two evaporation side headers 51a, 52a is arranged so that the side far from the condensing part 2 is positioned lower than the side close to it. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
