CAMERA, IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE, AND IMAGE STORAGE DEVICE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the prior problem that when stored images of mixed 2D and 3D are regenerated, a user judges whether or not an output destination apparatus deals with the 3D images and he/she must select images suitable for the output destination apparatus.

SOLUTION: Control information for judging whether an image is 2D or 3D is added to the image and stored in storage means. There is provided output control means for outputting the control information added to the image as a control signal when the image is read from the storage means. As a result, it is judged by the control signal when stored images of mixed 2D and 3D are regenerated whether an output image is 2D one or 3D one, so that an image can be properly displayed in accordance with the output destination apparatus.
