The rollover protecting system has an u-shaped roll clamp consisting a clamp head (2) and two clamp journals (3,4), each of which is, attached at a top. The clamp journals are directly attached with the clamp head at right angle. The roll clamp is formed transverse to the vehicle longitudinal axis, which is elastic in a section. The clamp journals and the clamp head are formed in tubular manner and are connected together in one piece. The clamp journals and the clamp head are joined adhesively or form fitted with each other.
