<p>The brake has discs (3, 4) slidably supported on a hub, and surface plates for supporting brake pads arranged on the discs. The discs and/or plates, which are displaceable in their rubbing and brake positions during a brake operation, are transferred into a position during the release of brake, by guide units e.g. grooves, of brake. A defined air gap is formed between the discs and the pads in the transferred position.</p> |
