The apparatus is for securing head together with a base part working with a connecting component (4), so that in a reciprocating movement two securing clamps are formed, comprising a bottom part (9) and an upper part (25), which have a locating surface with a securing aperture (27) against which the workpiece is placed for securement. The upper part is so connected with the bottom part that it can be pushed to and from the bottom part in the securing movement. Between the bottom and upper parts is stop arrangement (28) which can prevent the upper part being pushed towards the bottom part. An anvil component (22) is fitted to the bottom part and securement is effected through the securing head and the base part being pushed towards each other to form contact with the workpiece, whereafter a driver drives a clamp into the workpiece. |
