<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply build a suitable write strategy in an optical disk device. <P>SOLUTION: Concerning 1st and 2nd correction amounts which are used at the time of correcting a recording pulse and are determined correspondingly to a mark length and a combination of a space length and the mark length, respectively, only the 1st correction amount is determined by test writing, and the 2nd correction amount is obtained by calculation considering a ratio of the mark length to a total length of the space length and mark length based on this 1st correction amount. Therefore, it is unnecessary to obtain a correction amount by performing test writing on all the combinations of the space length and mark lengths, but the write strategy can be built simply and suitably. In the case of 3T space/4T mark, the 1st correction amount 4Tdtp is determined by test writing, and the 2nd correction amount T1d_3s4m is calculated by Tld_3s4m=(3Tdtp-4Tdtp) x 4/7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
