A wind power generator is provided to generate maximum amount of electrical energy by maximizing resistance against wind by permitting a placard to stand upright vertically against the stream of wind. A wind power generator includes bases(2a,2b), towers(1a,1b), a placard(7), a plurality of inverters, and a central controller. The bases are attached with a plurality of sets of generators in which a shaft of a winch is connected to a generator shaft through a speed reduction gear. The towers have tops on which the bases are installed. The towers are set on ground or water with a gap formed between the towers. The placard is interposed between the towers through a plurality of strings wound on winches of the towers. The inverters are connected to the generators so as to control pitch angle, position and speed of the placard. The central controller transmits command related to control of the placard and receives control information to and from the inverters. |
