<p>A refrigeration appliance (1) is described which comprises at least one cell (2,3) for frozen foodstuffs and a system for cooling the cell (2,3). The system comprises an evaporator (4), located in the cell, and means for circulating a coolant within the evaporator (4). The appliance (1) also comprises timer means which are connected to the coolant circulation means and which can keep the latter operating for a preset period of time.</p><p>The time is selected by a user among a plurality of periods of time through suitable controls.
