PROCESS FOR MAKING PILL USING SULFUR DUCK

A method for preparing a pill containing turmeric and gold chrysanthemum by using sulfur duck is provided to enhance the taste and flavor of duck and form the duck into a pill that is easy to take. A method for preparing a pill containing turmeric and gold chrysanthemum by using sulfur duck comprises the steps of: (i) washing sulfur duck with underground rock water, sterilizing the sulfur duck with infrared rays, and steaming it three times in an earthenware steamer; (ii) mixing Suaeda japonica powder, gold chrysanthemum, Hovenia dulcis, Psidium guajava, and mulberry leaf powder; (iii) adding the mixture from the step (ii) and a mixture of turmeric powder and black bean to the sulfur duck, and kneading all the mixture; (iv) forming the dough into a noodle shape; (v) cutting the noodle-shaped dough into a pill shape; and (vi) hot-air drying the pills. The pill comprises 20 parts by weight of turmeric powder, 23 parts by weight of black bean, 10 parts by weight of Suaeda japonica powder, 3.5 parts by weight of gold chrysanthemum, 3.3 parts by weight of Hovenia dulcis, 5.0 parts by weight of Psidium guajava, and 3.3 parts by weight of mulberry leaf powder, based on 40 parts by weight of the sulfur duck.
