摘要 A voice recognition ARS(Automatic Response System) service method and a system thereof are provided to enable a user to receive a desired service immediately or to select a service whose range is already narrowed, thereby reducing the user's burden of finding a desired service compared to a DTMF(Dual Tone Multi Frequency) mode. A service inquiry voice is received from a user(S301). The received service inquiry voice is recognized(S303). A service tag is extracted on the basis of voice recognition results(S305-S317). One of plural menus is selected/provided, depending on whether the service tag is extracted(S319). If the service tag is not extracted, a backoff menu is provided(S307). The backoff menu consists of options which contain all of ARS service items. When the service tag is extracted, a general menu in accordance with the extracted service tag is provided.
