<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust pipe connection structure which enhances a strength of a welded portion of the exhaust pipe inserted into one side of walls of a main body against a wall of the main body side. <P>SOLUTION: In the exhaust pipe connection structure, a through hole 11a which penetrates an outer shell 11 is formed lager than the outer diameter of an inlet pipe 2. At a position corresponding to the through hole in the inlet pipe 2, mounted is a reinforcing and gap closing member 3 which is equipped with a cylinder 31, that contacts closely with a peripheral surface of a protrusion of the inlet pipe 2 and a flange 32 protruding outward from an edge at a side of the through hole of the cylinder 31. The flange 32 of the reinforcing and gap closing member 3 is welded and fixed over an entire circumference of the through hole 11a and further the cylinder 31 of the reinforcing and gap closing member 3 is welded and fixed over an entire peripheral surface of the inlet pipe 2. A flange 43 of a base plate 42 of a stay 4 equipped with an insertion hole 41 facing the cylinder 31 on a coaxial line of the hole and cylinder is welded and fixed to an inner surface of the outer shell 11. Then, an apical end side of the inlet pipe 2 is supported with the apical end inserted into the insertion hole 41 of the stay 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
