<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a membrane-electrode assembly equipped with a catalyst layer having desired pores and desired proton conductivity. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the membrane-electrode assembly (100) comprises a preparation process preparing a proton conductive electrolyte membrane (10), a catalyst layer forming process forming a catalyst layer (20) by coating ink (21) containing catalyst and proton conductive electrolyte on the proton conductive electrolyte membrane, and a pressurization process for heating the proton conductive electrolyte membrane and the catalyst layer up to a given temperature range and pressurizing them in a lamination direction of the proton conductive electrolyte membrane and the catalyst layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
