<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for connecting printed wiring boards capable of changing the arrangement of signal connection and ground connection simply, by inserting a short-circuiting pin into a connector housing without having to change the circuit patterns of the printed-wiring boards. <P>SOLUTION: In the connector, there are a large number of through-holes 7 that have penetrated from the top wall to bottom wall of a housing 2 and are used for inserting a pin terminal; there are a large number of long holes 8a, 8b for attaching contacts 20 (21, 22) to a front sidewall 3 and a rear-side one 4, while they are arranged on upper and lower stages, in parallel and orthogonally crossing corresponding through holes 7, the contact 20 is attached to the long hole for connecting to one printed wiring board 40; and the pin terminal mounted onto the other printed-wiring board is inserted into the through-hole 7 for electrically connecting to the contact 20. In this case, there is a short-circuiting pin insertion hole 9 that mutually communicates with adjacent long holes on the front-side and rear side-walls 3, 4, and the arrangement of the signal connection S and the ground connection G can be changed on one printed wiring board 40 by the insertion position of the short-circuiting pin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
