PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method of a precast pile, and a cover for use in the construction method that can positively and easily fill an improving body around the outer peripheral part of the precast pile without filling it into the precast pile while eliminating a huge cost for an excavating device and construction. SOLUTION: The construction method of the precast pile for positioning the precast pile 8 in the improving body 5 constructed by agitating a solidifying material and sediment in the excavated ground is characterized by applying pressure into the precast pile 8 after positioning the precast pile 8.
