<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbine engine to lower the operating temperature of a lubricating fluid in the engine operation. <P>SOLUTION: A splitter (44) is installed in the gas turbine engine (10). The splitter comprises a radial inner wall (206), a radial outer wall (208) connected to the radial inner wall in a front end (200), an inside support structure (220) connected between the inner wall and the outer wall, that is, the inside support structure to demarcate a passage between at least the part and the inner wall and the outer wall, and a cooling circuit (222) extending through the part of the inside support structure for circulating the lubricating fluid through the passage so as to increase the temperature of at least the part of the inner wall and the outer wall as the temperature of the lubricating oil lowers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
