PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid droplet discharge head with high precision and stable performance at a low cost. SOLUTION: Outer air sent in through a duct 56 contains a solvent 57 contained in a humidifying material 52 and becomes humidified air 51 when passing through the humidifying material 52 comprising a porous material with resistance to the solvent 57 for example sponge and is sent toward a nozzle 16 (a flowing path member 12) from a blowing port 58. The evaporation of the solvent of an ink in the flowing path member 12 near the nozzle 16 can be prevented because the concentration of the solvent 57 in air near the nozzle 16 can be maintained high by sending the humidified air 51 containing the solvent in abundance.
