PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a map information processor, or the like capable of minimizing the amount of data to be updated by updating only a selected road in object units by selection as a road affecting route calculation when route calculation results are within the range of an affected area by setting the affected area of a new road when maintaining new road information in a server device. SOLUTION: The map information processor sets an effective update range related to a newly installed road, and sends additional map information related to the newly installed road to a navigation device, when the path search result by the navigation device overlaps with the effective update range partially or entirely.
