PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording device capable of reliably suppressing deposit of scattered recording medium on an ink ejection surface. SOLUTION: A conveying device 13 for conveying a paper sheet P has an endless conveying belt 8 having an adhesive outer circumferential surface. A paper feeder 11 adheres the paper sheet P to a lower surface 8a facing downward in the outer circumferential surface of the conveying belt 8. A deposit removing roller 20 having an adhesive outer circumferential surface is brought into contact with a printing surface of the paper sheet P located on the lower surface 8a of the conveying belt 8, and deposit on the printing surface of the paper sheet P is removed thereby. An inkjet head 1 ejects ink droplets from an ink ejection surface 2a onto the printing surface of the paper sheet P located on an upper surface 8b facing upward on the outer circumferential surface of the conveying belt 8.
