PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that since ground analog broadcasting is scheduled to end in 2011, it is impossible for a user to receive the ground analog broadcasting after the end of the ground analog broadcasting, and that the control of power source supply to a tuner only due to a reason that it is not simply used in a conventional manner may cause the user not to notice that it is impossible to receive the ground analog broadcasting due to the end of the ground analog broadcasting, and to have a false idea of not being able to receive the ground analog broadcasting due to the failure of, for example, a receiver. SOLUTION: This AV device having a tuner for ground analog broadcasting and the other tuner for broadcasting is configured to encourage a user to pay attention by outputting a predetermined message when a tuner selected by the user is a tuner for ground analog broadcasting, and when the lapse time after the final use of the tuner for ground analog broadcasting is a predetermined time or more.
