PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vending machine capable of well realizing a first in first out operation about articles by facilitating a refilling operation. SOLUTION: The machine comprises a first conveying unit 30 which is partitioned into an article storing chamber 10 for storing articles and an article accommodating chamber 20 for maintaining the articles at a desired temperature state into up and down direction, receives articles existing in the most back side of a column of the article storing chamber 10 to be designated in response to an article refilling command, and conveys them to the last end portion of a designated column of the article accommodating chamber 20; a second conveying unit 40 for receiving articles existing in the most front side of a column in the article accommodating chamber 20 designated in response to an article selling command, and for conveying it into an article delivery outlet; a first heat insulating barrier unit 50 for thermally insulating and separating each column of the article accommodating chamber 20 from a conveying path of the first conveying unit 30 at a normal state, and permitting article refilling to the column at the time of refilling the articles; and a second heat insulating barrier unit 60 for thermally insulating and separating each column of the article accommodating chamber 20 from a conveying path of the second conveying unit 40 at a normal state, and permitting article reception when selling the articles.
