PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discriminate the presence of different format data in an index screen. SOLUTION: Thumbnail images and icons are displayed on alist in the order of photography time in the index screen on a liquid crystal panel, thereby easily recognizing that the different format data are stored in a recording medium.
