METHOD OF FORMING TIRE AND APPARATUS FOR PRESSURE BONDING OF RUBBER STRIP

In the forming of a tire composed of multiple rubber members for tire, it is intended to at the time of spirally winding and laminating of ribbonlike rubber strips (R), attain unfailing lamination with no gaps. Use is made of presser roll (30) and two sets of stitching rolls (40a,40b) arranged in parallel with the center of rubber strip width (W) interposed therebetween and arranged so as to allow individual pressurization operations. Not only is pressurization pressure bonding of rubber strips (R) carried out by the presser roll (30) at the position of rubber strip (R) winding, but also in a region just thereafter, there is carried out pressurization operation by stitching rolls (40a) or (40b) lying on the anterior side in the direction of advance of traverse moving among the two sets to thereby accomplish pressurization and pressure bonding of the portion of rubber strip on the anterior side in the direction of advance.
