This invention provides a polymer electrolyte material, which has excelle nt proton conductivity even under low humidity and low temperature condition s and excellent mechanical strength and fuel shielding properties and, in th e form of a solid polymer fuel cell, can realize high output, high energy de nsity, and long-term durability, and a polymer electrolyte molded product us ing the polymer electrolyte material, a method for producing the polymer ele ctrolyte molded product, a membrane electrode composite, and a solid polymer fuel cell. The polymer electrolyte material comprises ionic group-containin g constitutional units (A1) and substantially ionic group-free constitutiona l units (A2) and is characterized in that a phase separated structure can be confirmed by observation under a transmission electron microscope and, at t he same time, the crystallization heat quantity as measured by a differentia l scanning calorimetric analysis is not less than 0.1 J/g, or characterized in that a phase separated structure can be confirmed by observation under a transmission electron microscope and, at the same time, the degree of crysta llization as measured by a wide angle X-ray diffraction analysis is not less than 0.5%. |
