<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of easily performing a rotation process of image data. <P>SOLUTION: A memory controller 17 has an input line buffer 70, an output line buffer 80, a first image converting unit 65, and a second image converting unit 66. In a procedure of producing intermediate image data 16a, line data for four lines among pieces of input image data is firstly read into the input line buffer 70. A part of image data of 16 bits is extracted from each line data. Then a partial image data of extracted 64 bits is stored in a synchronous DRAM 16 as storage data. In a procedure of producing output image data, data is read from the minimum access unit. Image data of four bits is extracted from each part of image data included in the read data. Pixel data for extracted 4 bits multiplied by 4 (equals to 16 bits) is stored in the output line buffer 80 after subjected to the rotation process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
