A speaker (20) has a frame (5), a magnetic circuit (1), a voice coil body (2), a diaphragm (3), a first connection body (12a), and a second connection body (12b). The first connection body (12a) and the second connection body (12b) are arranged closer to the magnetic circuit (1) than to the diaphragm (3) and are connected at their inner periphery to the voice coil body (2) and at their outer periphery to the frame (5). Further, the first connection body (12a) has a first damper (10a) and a first edge (11a), and the first edge (11a) has a first edge projection (21a) projecting in the direction of the diaphragm (3) or in the direction opposite to the diaphragm (3). The second connection body (12b) has a second damper (10b) and a second edge (11b), and the second edge (11b) has a second edge projection (21b) projecting in the direction opposite to the direction of the projection of the first edge projection (21a). The speaker (20) has suppressed sound distortion, has a diaphragm section easily reduced in weight, and has improved drive efficiency. |
