A device for increasing the number of concurrent calls in a DECT(Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications) system is provided to increase the number of speech calls simultaneously in one DECT cell area, thereby reducing the number of BSs(Base Stations) necessary when a wireless communication environment using the DECT system is configured. Plural BMCs(Burst Mode Controllers)(306a,306b) output control and data signals, respectively. A switching unit(310) switches the outputted control signals and data signals. An RF(Radio Frequency) module(308) receives the switched control signals and the switched data signals, and wirelessly interfaces the received data signals with plural wireless DECT handsets according to the received control signals. |
