A flat panel display module and a TV receiver thereof are provided to block an external light source and increase the aperture ration through structural change of a filter, thereby preventing an internal light source, which is outputted to the outside, from being blocked. A flat panel display module comprises a panel(210), and a filter(220) formed at the front of the panel, wherein the filter has a plurality of black stripes(221) formed at a uniform interval therein. Each of the black stripes has a cross section where an eye side is wide and a panel side is narrow. The cross section of the black stripe is a triangle. The filter has a light efficiency improving function. The panel is a plasma display panel. |
