<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fan engine capable of improving efficiency of a fan and high pressure turbine. <P>SOLUTION: A turbine engine assembly includes a core gas turbine engine 13 including a high-pressure compressor 14, a combustor 16, and a high-pressure turbine 18, a low-pressure turbine 20 coupled behind the core gas turbine engine in the axial direction, a fan assembly 12 coupled in front of the core gas turbine engine in the axial direction, and a booster compressor 22 coupled to the low-pressure turbine to rotate with the low-pressure engine at a first rotating speed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
