<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the usability and marketability of an image forming device by operating the mechanisms of the device body by accompanying opening or closing of the cover. <P>SOLUTION: A first interlocked slider 271 is installed on the left wall 2A of the main casing 2 against a direct mesh cam 140, and a second interlocked slider 350 is installed on the right wall 2B of the main casing 2 against a branch duct 335. Further, both of the interlocked sliders 271, 350 and the front cover 9 are connected with a wire W. Both sliders 271, 350 move back and forth by opening the front cover 9, and the direct mesh cam 140 automatically moves from the pushed position to the original position, and the branch duct 335 automatically changes its inserted attitude to the retreated attitude.
