<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform mobility correction of a drive transistor adaptively for a luminance level of a pixel. <P>SOLUTION: The correction for the mobility μ of the drive transistor Trd is added to a signal potential Vsig held in a pixel capacity Cs in a correction period from a first timing at which a second control signal DS is applied to a second scanning signal DS and a switching transistor Tr4 turns on after a first control signal WS is applied to a first scanning signal Ws to turn on a sampling transistor Tr1 and sampling of a signal potential Vsig is started to a second timing at which the first control signal WS applied to the first scanning signal WS is released and the sampling transistor Tr1 turns off. A write scanner 4 has an output section for sloping the falling edge of the first control signal WS for judging the second timing and outputs a curve sloping waveform of first steepening the slope, and in succession changing the slope gently, thereby optimizing the correction period in both when the signal potential is high and the signal potential is low. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
