PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet, including a high-density region, which is composed of a high-density region and a low-density region, a sheet member obtained by joining the high-density region of the sheet including the high-density region with an elastic member, and a disposable diaper using the sheet member as a chassis. SOLUTION: A sheet softened by preheating is pressed between a pair of shaping rolls with a toothed region which rotate opposite to each other, and thus the sheets including the high-density region, i.e. one sheet with a plurality of the high-density regions and the other with a plurality of the low-density regions, are manufactured. In addition, these two sheets including the high-density region are joined together through the elongated elastic member and then, patterned unevenly. Consequently, the sheet including the high-density region is available. The sheet member can be obtained by forming an uneven pattern during the shrinking of the elastic member, as at least, one of the two sheets is the sheet including the high-density region and the high-density region is joined through the elongated elastic member.
