An air conditioner is provided to arrange an auxiliary heat exchanger at a downstream of an evaporator and a heater core of an air conditioning case and store a heating medium transferring heat at the auxiliary heat exchanger in a heating medium storage tank to supplement insufficient cooling and heating source after power off. An air conditioner for a vehicle includes an air conditioning case(10), and an evaporator(20) and a heater core(30) installed in the air conditioning case to cool or heat air introduced into the air conditioner. A heat storage module(40) includes an auxiliary heat exchanger(41) installed at a downstream side of an air flow direction of the evaporator and the heater core to transfer heat with conditioned air, a pipe line(43) and a pump(44) circulating heat-exchanged heating medium of the auxiliary heat exchanger, and a heating medium storage tank(42) storing and supplying the heating medium of the auxiliary heat exchanger.
