A foreign material blocking cover for a chain and an assembling method thereof are provided to prevent small parts from being inserted into the chain, and to prevent separation by external force, and to improve corrosion resistance, abrasion resistance and noise. A foreign material blocking cover for a chain comprises at least one body(110) inserted between adjacent first and second rollers(10,20) and including first and second surfaces(111,112). The first surface has a concave round shape so as to be contacted to an outer circumference surface of the first roller. The second surface has a concave round shape so as to be contacted to an outer circumference surface of the second roller.
