<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling a torque transmitting system to guarantee smooth acceleration of an automobile. <P>SOLUTION: A central control unit measures energy introduction at least in a range of the torque transmitting system 3 via a sensor signal and a system input value or specifies a temperature at least in the range of the torque transmitting system, and it also controls torque to be transmitted by the torque transmitting system. Herein, at a starting step, the torque to be transmitted is almost zero until an engine speed reaches at least a predetermined threshold value, and a first accelerating step is started when the engine speed reaches at least the threshold value. Then, at the first accelerating step, the torque to be transmitted by the torque transmitting system is controlled so that the engine speed is reduced in at least the range of the torque transmitting system, a vehicle has relatively greater acceleration and relatively smaller energy is introduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
