A device (D) is dedicated to the interconnection between at least one corporate information system (SI1-SI3) and an application server (SA) storing policy data representative of at least one routing policy in the form of a tree structure in which each node is a predicate for at least one characteristic of a call or at least one element relating to a contact, and in which each terminal leaf is a call routing decision for at least one contact, and being part of an IP telephone system further comprising a signalling server (SS). The device (D) comprises i) a contact base (BC) for storing data from the information system (SI1-SI3) and representative of a list of contacts each associated with at least one contact identifier and at least one contact parameter, each identifier and each parameter constituting one contact element, and ii) management means (MG) that, in case of a request by the application server (SA) using a contact identifier designated by a call, will browse a tree structure of the application server by successively applying its predicates according to the elements stored in the contact base (BC) and to the information relating to the IP telephone system until a routing decision for the call is found for the signalling server (SS).
