DEVICE FOR THE INDUCTIVE COUPLING OF A DATA-TRANSMISSION UNIT TO A PHASE OF AN ELECTRICAL POWER LINE AND CORRESPONDING PRODUCTION METHOD

The invention relates to a device for the inductive coupling of a data-transmission unit to a phase of an electrical power line and to the corresponding production method. The inventive device comprises two complementary semi-annular half-bodies (6, 7) which are made from an electrical insulating material and which are equipped with reciprocal assembly means (13, 14). The aforementioned half-bodies (6, 7) are provided with conduits (8, 9) which house core parts (4, 5) that are encapsulated in a resin compound. According to the invention, a conductor turn, which is housed in a conduit (8), forms a loop around a core part (4). The half-bodies (6, 7) can adopt an assembled position, such as to form a closed clamp, and an open position. In addition, an external connector (11) for an electrical data signal and a transmitter/receiver device (12) are built into one of the half-bodies (6, 7) of the device.
