<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device that can sufficiently prevent fusion bonding on a developing roller surface and give high-quality images for a long period of time while suppressing degradation of toner even when a low softening point toner is used. <P>SOLUTION: The developing device allows a toner regulating roller 1 having an elastic force of 1.6 N or lower to press a developing roller (2) while generating a line pressure of 5 to 30 N/m to form a toner thin layer on the developing roller surface as shown in Fig.1, wherein the toner 3 has a softening point of 90 to 120°C and a volume average particle size of 4.0 to 9.0 μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
