PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a selected D/A converter to generate the optimal delta/sigma modulation signal in a delta/sigma modulation type D/A converting device equipped with a delta/sigma converter, a first D/A converter having a linear amplifier and a second D/A converter having a digital amplifier. SOLUTION: This delta/sigma modulation type D/A converting device is provided with: a delta/sigma modulator 51 equipped with a quantizer for quantizing a signal, and configured to operate by predetermined sampling frequency; a first D/A converter 61 equipped with a linear amplifier, and configured to input the output of the delta/sigma modulator 51; and a second D/A converter 62 equipped with a digital amplifier, and configured to input the output of the delta/sigma modulator 51. Furthermore, the delta/sigma modulation type D/A converting device is provided with: a selector 71 for selectively supplying the output of the delta/sigma modulator 51 to either the first or second D/A converter 61 or 62; and a control signal generator 72 for selecting either the number of levels of quantization of a quantizer or the order of the transmission function of the delta/sigma converter 51 while being interlinked with the selector 71.
