A display device having two driving lines and a display method using the driving lines are provided to perform a low power driving and to reduce power consumption by driving pixels using two data lines. A display device includes plural scan lines(S0-S7), plural data lines(D0e-D7e,D0o-D7o), a first pad, and pixels. The number of the data lines is double the number of the scan lines. The scan lines and the data lines are arranged to be interconnected with one another in a matrix formation. Even-numbered scan lines are connected to even-numbered data lines, while odd-numbered scan lines are connected to even-numbered scan lines to form the first pad. The pixels are arranged on coupling portions between the scan and data lines. The display device includes a driving controller, a scan driving circuit, a data driving circuit, and a demultiplexer. The demultiplexer selectively outputs image data driving signals to one of the even-numbered and odd-numbered data lines according to a select signal from the data driving circuit.
