PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new polysiloxane having a quaternary ammonium group, a method for preparing the polysiloxane, and the use thereof in a preparation for cleaning and care. SOLUTION: The polysiloxane is represented by general formula (I): [M'Dn]3T (I) (wherein, M' is XSiY2O1/2; D is SiY2O2/2; and T is SiZO3/2).
